Katie has looked after my two dogs for years. They lead the life of Riley at home, allowed in the bed, on the furniture, so the thought of leaving them in kennels when we go away was out of the question. They get tons of exercise when they go to Katie’s and end up fitter than when they left. They also get a lot of personal attention and they’re both very fond of her, and always slightly ambivalent about coming home, which means I have to step up my game, I think! Katie didn’t fall into this job by accident, she chose to do it, leaving behind a corporate career and she obviously loves dogs.
She also has a good number of safe, away from the road, walking places to take dogs that even I wasn’t aware of. And I’m just about to take them to one of them, if they’ll only get off the keyboard!
